HS Wayfarer / Version 3.200
Designed by James Hamelton Jr. | Hamelton Software, a DBA of Hamelton Brands, LLC.

Six upright display weights: Light 300, Regular 400, Medium 500, Semibold 600, Bold 700, Black 900. All weights have 311 encoded characters and extended European Latin coverage. Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic, Asian scripts and standalone combining marks are not included. Website preview normalizes decomposed accented input to NFC.

INSTALLATION
Uninstall older HS Wayfarer files before installing this family. Install the six TTF files or the six OTF files, not both sets. Select the font files, right-click and select Install. Restart applications afterward. Applications with typographic-family support group the weights under HS Wayfarer. Older applications may show Light, Medium, Semibold and Black as separate family entries; Regular and Bold form the standard Windows style pair.

Best at 24 px and larger for titles and display work. All six files contain actual weight-specific outlines; these are static fonts, not a variable font.

Hamelton has developed fonts since 2013. HS Wayfarer exists because of the Wayfarer browser and began with its logo wordmark. Released as a free download.

Version 3.200 corrects the inconsistent weight generation. Narrow stems, small marks, bars, and ligatures now follow the intended weight. Measurement and comparison proofs are included.
